Dr. Elizabeth Huynh, DVM, MS, DACVR
Dr. Elizabeth Huynh is a board-certified veterinary radiologist providing advanced diagnostic imaging services for companion and exotic animal practices throughout Southern California. She works closely with primary care veterinarians, emergency hospitals, and specialty practices to provide comprehensive imaging support through mobile ultrasound, teleradiology, and collaborative case consultation.
Dr. Huynh earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She subsequently completed a small animal rotating internship at Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, followed by a diagnostic imaging internship at Animal Specialty and Emergency Center in Los Angeles. She then completed a four-year diagnostic imaging residency and Master of Science degree at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine before becoming board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology (DACVR).
Her clinical expertise includes ultrasound, radiography, CT, MRI, and image-guided procedures for both companion and exotic animal species. In addition to dogs and cats, Dr. Huynh also provides imaging support for birds, rabbits, reptiles, ferrets, guinea pigs, and other exotic companion animals.
Dr. Huynh is passionate about integrating advanced imaging into everyday clinical practice in a way that is practical, collaborative, and patient-centered. Her approach emphasizes clear communication, clinically relevant reporting, and compassionate imaging services that help veterinarians deliver timely, high-quality patient care while allowing patients to remain in the comfort of their primary veterinary hospital whenever possible.
